Hands-on small-group learning

The Two-Day POCUS Workshop introduces anaesthesia and critical care physicians to fundamental bedside ultrasound applications. Practical learning is delivered through supervised small-group stations led by expert sonographers and anaesthesia faculty. On Day 2, participants practice under a critical care consultant in real bedside cases in Ministry of Health hospitals.

Participants remain in their assigned groups of seven and are placed in one of three hospitals to focus intensively on a single airway skill under direct supervision. This format emphasizes skill consolidation, deliberate practice, and safe real-world application of Day 1 competencies.
